Important Events in May
May 23rd
Horse Judging Contest: The Southern Plains Horse judging contest will be held Friday, May 23 at 12:00pm at the Thayer County Fairgrounds in Deshler. There will be 4 classes and one set of oral reasons for everyone. There will be three divisions. Junior (8-11), Intermediate (12-13) and Senior (14 and over). Clubs are encouraged to put together teams of 3-4 members.

Ranch Stewardship LIVE: Thayer County Feeders is hosting a horse Clinic on June 21st in Hebron. The clinic will focus on methods that increase profitability, boost the beef industry and improve quality of life. Regional 4-H Dairy Show: The 2008 Regional 4-H Dairy Show will be held Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 1:00 at the Clay County Fairgrounds. There will be a Pot-luck meal so you are asked to bring a dish to share. Drinks will be provided. Pre-register by June 15. The Tumbleweed Classic Goat Show is Saturday, June 28 at the same place.
